Well, that's not very nice...

We have a teaser poster for... whatever the hell that Cloverfield movie's really called. As you can see, something has relieved Lady Liberty of her head, and is swimming towards a badly photoshopped Lower Manhattan (there's buildings where they shoudn't be). So, the questions continue... just what the hell ARE we looking at?!

It's been reported that JJ Abrams will give us the title and a few details today... rumor is that the movie's title may be Monstrous. I kinda hope not. Sounds... stupid.

Also, I'm hoping we actually see New York City for a change. Because usually, when we see a scene in Gotham, it's being filmed in Los Angeles or Montreal, sometimes Vancouver. And, the thing is, usually, they don't even TRY to disguise it. They just slap some stuff reading "New York" all over the place and say "There, ya see? We're in the City." Maybe it's just nuts like me, but I can tell easily.

Well, the bad news is that is indeed mostly being filmed in Los Angeles. However, a lot has been in studios behind greenscreen, and that was DEFINITELY New York City we saw in the teaser. And people at Coney Island say a team, including Abrams himself, filmed for a day. So, maybe they're filming stock footage to be added/CGI'd later? I hope so...

So, yeah, I'll post later today, after we know WTF's going on...

EDIT: Never mind, Abrams didn't give anything up except that we'd eventually get more goodies like a trailer, pics, etc.
