Wow... ignorance for ages 9 and up!

You guys ever hear of Kirk Cameron, or at least post Growing Pains? Well, it seems he's been back over the past few years with a guy named Ray Comfort. They're a pair of what I call "Christozombies." I'm not talking about the vast majority of Christians that I know and love who are outstanding, intelligent, and open minded people. I'm talking about the kind who thinking of nothing but the Bible for explaining life, the universe, and everything without being open to new ideas that ol' Yeasuess didn't speak of. Like zombies, they want to "infect" others by forcing their interpretation of the Bible on people. Kirk and Ray are stunning examples of these. Look at what their beady little brains have come up with now...
Yes. That's right. A board game disproving the theory of evolution.
Okay, look, I dunno if my readers believe in evolution or not. And frankly, I don't care, you're all free thinking human beings and can make your own decisions. But, honestly. What kind of IDIOT would seek to disprove a scientific theory with a board game? Does this mean that if I want to prove thermodynamics is bullshit, I need to call up Milton Bradley? What about a book? That TV series I've had the extreme misfortune to watch, yet can't stop watching as if it were a hideous donkey on Ark wreck? Or the radio network you have? Seriously, these two have no idea how to argue effectively. Behold... their most famous argument. It certainly makes me wake up with the sweats nightly!

You guys ever hear what they have to say? The way they share their faith is creepy to an extreme degree. They argue such things as...
*You must "surrender" yourself to Christ
*You must hate everything and everyone you love EXCEPT God and Jesus
*Everyone deserves Hell. Ghandi, according to them, is in Hell for one example.
I mean, honestly... how does that NOT seem like signing over your free will to your faith and all but becoming a zombie? I do realize that a love of God is part of the Christian worship, but, to love Him more than your own family? I'm sorry, I just couldn't do that. And if that means Hell, gimme some Crisco, I'll lather myself up now.

INSULTING INTELLIGENCE
Yeah, this is real cheap. They openly flaunt this: Don't go for the intellect, go straight for the conscience. So, yeah, completely disrespect my intelligence and ability for thought, and make some cheap shots at guiliting me into your belief system. Don't answer my questions or discuss our disagreements like mature grown ups, make me cry instead. That's real mature, guys.
They also do this really obnoxious thing where they try to find a chink in the armor of someone, then pound the hell out of it. A real example from their episode "disproving" evolution (Oh, jeez, you have to see this middle part to believe it)...
RAY: Where did life start?
GUY: From an asteroid hitting Earth.
RAY: Where'd the asteroid come from?
GUY: Another planet...
RAY: Where'd the planet come from?
GUY: Big Bang?
RAY: Where'd that come from?
GUY: Uh...
So, basically, they "attack" people who aren't as knowledgable, and make them look like idiots or the common denominator for evolutionists. They're leading them down the path, waiting until they're totally hapless and have to consider religion. They also cut away when they claim to have an "expert" without him or explaining their beliefs. Again, cheap. The fact they openly encourage not even READING up on what you're trying to disprove is even more offensive.
MISUSE OF HISTORY
Grrrr... they openly say people who read or write history without keeping Christianity in mind work in blind faith. I'm spending tens of thousands of dollars in college and grad school, and I do NOT appreciate being told that. They constantly cite two passages as being proof of the Bible being true, one talking of terrible things happening, the other the Temple's destruction. Unfortunately, any idiot can say "oh, something bad is going to happen in the future" and predicting the destruction of the Temple was done by everyone and their mother's mother. It's kinda like New York pre-9/11 is in disaster movies.
I'm sure there's other things I'm forgetting, but it's time for some Chinese food. Nummy! Let me close with this debate on ABCNews where they were just... wasted.
